How does Adaptive Learning Center work?
The learning environment at Adaptive Learning is a lot different than traditional schools. Our teachers work in conjunction with your student's therapeutic team to create an individualized learning plan to ensure each student achieves optimal success.
Our students are taught in small group or individual settings depending on the needs of each student.
How do I pay for Adaptive Learning Center services?
Students may qualify for Step Up for Students Family Empowerment Scholarship or the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. If your child has a disability, you will apply for the Unique Abilities Scholarship. For more information, click HERE.
The Adaptive Learning Center functions as a tuition based, private school and we accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities, and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.

Each teacher at Adaptive Learning has one or more of the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject area

Three or more years of teaching experience

Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in the subject taught.
All employees and agents of a public school district, charter school, or private school have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety and/or welfare of a student. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

Obscene language

Drug and alcohol use

Disparaging comments

Prejudice or bigotry

Sexual innuendo

Cheating

Testing violations

Physical aggression

Accepting or offering favors
If someone tells an an employee about misconduct, the employee will:

Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment and revocation of an educator's certificate.
